Holiday Cheer en route

Being Thankful and Knowing the Reason Why

We can all see that the Holiday Season is quickly coming upon us. Retail have sprouted their yearly displays for the Holidays. It's so automatic to see Christmas next to Halloween decorations now. But skipping ahead a few weeks. Now, you see the focus clearly shift to Christmas decorations. I think now it has become so ritualistic for decorations, the lights, the gift exchanging and the Christmas, that we have forgotten the real reason for the season. The commercial hunger of retail and the devaluing of the why and the who. Hopefully, we can return to the basics... be grateful for a harvest and willing to help our fellow man who is not as fortunate by remembering the reason for the season.
